How to Adjust Speaker Volume on a Display Port by Using the Mac’s Media Keys?

Sometimes, if you want to connect with Mac to an external display, then you might find that the Mac’s on-screen and keyboard volume controls are completely disabled. It is because the HDMI, Display Port, and Thunderbolt connections carry a permanent volume digital audio signal so that the external device will easily control the level of sound.
However, this might be irritating and frustrating for some users  if the volume controls on your external display are hidden in the bezel or covered in a fiddly on-screen menu. Luckily, it is possible for users to re-enable Mac’s native volume controls and then use it for adjusting the sound level which is coming out from your monitor’s speakers.
In this guide, we will provide you steps which guide you about how to adjust speaker volume on a display port by using Mac’s media keys, although you will need administrator advantages to follow it.
