Tips to Fix Broken Apps in Windows 10

Microsoft’s latest update to Windows 10 has made it far more easier to repair the fuddled apps. Windows 10 is a sequence of personal computer operating systems produced by Microsoft. It gets an update on an ongoing basis which comes with no further cost. The most notable feature is its support for the universal apps. Universal apps can be designed to run with multiple products of Microsoft such as Tablets, smartphones, PCs, etc. If your App is not in good condition, or you are bored with it and maybe for some other reasons you want to reset it. You can do it by following some straightforward steps. The issue is that some of the apps of Windows 10 are super annoying. A number of people are trying to uninstall one or more of the default apps. Under the current build of Windows 10, installer appears to be broken so both the attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling of apps can make all Windows 10 apps unusable. Neither they can be uninstalled nor can they be reinstalled. One example of a badly behaved windows default app; The App will continuously attempt to index, scan and enhance all images in libraries. It’s great if the library is only on your local drive, but if it is on a networked computer, it will saturate your network and thrash remote library’s hard drive endlessly. Follow these simple steps to reset your app:
  • Tap on the Start button and pick Settings icon from Start menu.
  • The setting app will appear.
  • Tap the icon of the Settings app’s system.
  • When the system window appears, click on the Apps and features link along with the window’s left edge. The Apps and Features window will appear. You will find your apps listed alphabetically along with the right side.
  • Click on the App’s name that is not functioning correctly.
  • When the menu drops down, tap on the words advanced option.
  • When the Advanced Options Settings appear, tap on the Reset button.
Windows reinstall and delete the app from scratch, pick any of your preference settings and sign in with the details. It is not going to be a big deal with the Calculator app, but apps like Mail and calendar may take some more time to bring back up to speed with the right settings.
